We has it. Right?

Bill Whittle says what needs to be said:

much is said about the “inevitability” of these kinds of legislation, that once enacted they are impossible to repeal or roll back.

This kind of thinking is self-fulfilling defeatism and has to stop. ANY law enacted can be repealed. We repealed a constitutional amendment, for God’s sake. From now on we must change our message from one of limiting goverment growth and spending and regulation to one of reducing it.

It is true that no nation has in the past ever recovered from the cycle of entitlement, moral decay and aristocratic rot that we find ourselves in. But it is also true that no nation — not one in history — was established precisely in opposition to these cancers. It is also true that never before have common people– otherwise known as the Host Organism — had the means to speak directly to one another, as we are here. It is true that if there is to be an historical exemption to the Cycle of Civilization it is only here that it will occur, and it is also true that the concepts of Free Will and Destiny are antithetical to one another. One of them is true and the other is not. It is my belief that you can chose to abandon Free Will and chose to believe in destiny and historical inevitablity, or you can take the risk to believe instead that there is a new world populated by optimists and dreamers, but dreamers with rifles as well as quills and parchment… People who have never surrendered and for whom the very idea of defeat and dispair is anathema.

That’s a choice I make every day. What we see before us is the result of lost elections and redemption will come from winning elections. Mark these words, my friends: We are going to whip these Marxists out of their little commie boots!

Via Transterrestrial, who points to other things that must be said:

I haven’t much to say except to that what happened in Washington tonight has very probably set off a tinderbox, and we will now be in rebellion. May it be a non-violent one, but if violence is what it ultimately takes, we are a people whose nation is founded on such in the defense of human liberty.

For instance, Sindberg points to Moe Lane reminding of what we were told we couldn’t do.

One thing:

Putting the same old half-dead elephant in power this fall won’t save us. That rotting hulk has to be disposed of before we get to the mad donkey. Republicans, you are on notice, too: this is not about you winning elections. This is about we, the people, taking control again. Overwhelmingly, the favorite response to criticism over the last few weeks has been, “The Republicans did it first!” And that criticism is bang on target.

You have all got to go. Clean house. Understand that the fight is not about who sits at the controls, but actually ripping the controls out, tearing up the tracks and wrecking the trains so that everyone can have cars.

It’s not about who this policy or that, it’s about no policy at all.

You must fight to give up power. If you don’t, you’ll end up against the wall as well.

PJTC: Whittle Kicks Butt; Klavan Plays Doctor

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

On PJTV, Andrew Klavan explains that you shouldn’t be prejudiced against that “Happy Spot” that showed up on your lung x-ray. See, VL, breast cancer isn’t the only good analogy….

Bill Whittle explains that he disagrees with many of President Obama’s decisions, but: he did the right thing by putting 30,000 troops into Afghanistan.

Then he explains what bone-headed traitors many of Obama’s supporters are, including Chris Matthews, Michael Moore, and especially and most spectacularly Keith Olberman.

If you enjoy watching evil being flayed alive, you will love this broadcast. An amazing invective tour de force.
