I never said it was, Dave. In fact, I believe that I said something along the lines of it seeming gratuitous and mildly disturbing to me. Of course, my memory might have failed me. And just for the record, you used breast cancer as a metaphor, not so much an analogy. My advice for you at this point (which you, being a free person, are perfectly free to ignore) is to file that point off the top of your head.

I assume you mean that I commented on the ticky-tack stuff and not on the point you were actually making. I did that on purpose, you nitwit. Why? Because, like I said a few posts ago, I’m not going to comment on other people’s ideas that you bring into your blog. If I disagree enough to really care, I’ll send it to the person who made the statement in question, not to you, as you are just touting the thoughts of others. Frankly, I don’t give a rat’s ass about how much you agree with it; if you don’t come up with any original thoughts or at least one or two meaningful ideas of your own, I’m not going to deign to refute to you what somebody else thinks.
I know, I basically said the same thing two or three times in a row just there, but I’m not sure you’ll understand if I just say it once.
