I can’t watch videos on my own machine at the moment, so I’m collecting stuff I want to watch for when I have a chance elsewhere.
Subject to editing and deletion without notice.
I have not yet watched any of the videos in this post, and cannot vouch for or against any of them. I often don’t even know what the heck they’re about.
I have got to get my machine fixed. This is driving me nuts, although I have to say, not being able to watch videos has radically decreased the amount of time I spend on online.
Michael Moore Meltdown
Via War on Guns
Financial Crisis: Causes and Possible Cures The Government Did It.
I’ve seen a bunch of Michael Moore movies. I personally think he should be respected by “your kind” in that he is trying to express his opinions instead of put his head in the sand. Your kind being defined as someone who, um, thinks and speaks coherently on subjects of importance to you.
I don’t know which movie you guys think shot holes in gun ownership and promotes gun control but I all remember from “Bowling in Columbine” (or whatever it is called) is that the guns aren’t the problem. It was the media’s over-hyping EVERYTHING that made the problem so bad as well as not letting kids deal with their problems on their own. It was our culture of over sensationalism added to our over protecting the children the spelled disaster.
I’m not willing to re-watch the movie if, in fact, I have a completely twisted view of it because frankly, I like my perspective. And who can endure to watch a Michael Moore movie twice? But I might listen to your counter argument.
I listen to what Moore has to say like I listen to Rush Limbaugh. There is truth down there somewhere but only someone listening with an open/skeptical mind will hear it. Mostly I try to ignore them though–there is only so much idiotic blather from, well, EVERYONE that I can endure.
Off to watch your other links.
