Six Words
The New York Times, recently infamous for attacking the nation and the military that protects its publishing freedom (including the unpunished publication of state secrets), has started a contest searching for a six word description of the United States.
Personally, I like Steven Den Beste’s suggestion that the Marines have “long since nailed it”:
No better friend, no worse enemy.
Of course,
as Den Beste and Michelle Malkin point out, the Times readership immediately began flinging six word feces. Accordingly, Malkin asks for six word descriptions of the Times.
Her favorite from her commentor ACHefty:
The National Fish Wrap of Record.
I take mine from Den Beste:
No worse friend, no better enemy.
Although warping their own slogan works too:
All the treason fit to print.
